PSALMS lesson 3
Is there some machine or devise that you use regularly and happily that, if used without thought, has the capacity to be dangerous? Several things come immediately to mind–a car, a knife, a lawnmower. Perhaps we don’t think of God in terms of danger, but maybe we should. The power of God is certainly capable of mighty acts beyond our own abilities, yet we tend to limit our thinking of Him to His power to save. As we will see in the Psalms of the King, the psalmist urges us to expand our view of God’s power–without which we will put ourselves in the path of destruction.
