JUDGES lesson 4

How do you decide what to pack when you take a trip? The weather could be a factor, as well as your planned activities. Maybe even your traveling companions might have some sway in the matter. The problem is that all of these things have some degree of unknown, so we’re never exactly sure of our needs. But the one thing I think we might all have in common is: am I bringing enough? Will I have enough clothes for whatever I will encounter? Will I have enough money, enough electronics, enough of everything. And, of course, this doesn’t just apply to taking a trip but to our everyday lives. The idea of enough seems to always have some place in our thinking. That’s a key factor in the story of Gideon and the Scriptures give a good amount of space to this, so it seems God wants to address this as an important issue.
