JONAH lesson 1A

Have you ever refurbished, refinished or mended anything to bring it back to “good as new”? It can be a beautiful process with a wonderful outcome to restore something to full usefulness. This is just a little like what God desires for us. His heart of hesed is moved by our need for wholeness and He is relentless in His attempts to get us to cooperate in the process. But, of course, God is not stymied by our reluctance as He continues to move history toward the whole world being invited into His hesed-filled life.
