*HEBREWS II lesson 19
What are the advantages of being the baby of the family? Whether you are one yourself or not, it seems most of us agree that the baby gets well taken care of, given more freedom and more grace than those before them. To have someone to follow and watch out for you is really such a gift. It makes me wonder then why most of us clamor to be on top, be the one that leads, not be, in essence, the weaker one. For this certainly is the place of recognizing and receiving grace. And so our Hebrews author encourages us to be followers, outsiders, students. And the Great Shepherd Himself will lead us and put us in the place we were meant to be.
