EPHESIANS lesson 9
What physical activity do you engage in when you are upset, or sad, or needing to work through something? Most people find it easy to answer this. Probably because we are a physical people and our needs prompt us to move. Up to this point in Ephesians, Paul has exhorted us to avoid engaging in those physical practices that will move us away from the telos of union with God. Now, in 5:16 and onward, he will give us some practices that will help us move toward that life-giving perichoretic union with God.
