ROMANS lesson 7

Surely, by the time we get to Romans 6 Paul can be done with the adamant declarations that the salvation which the Gospel offers is one of pure grace. And yet… Paul begins chapter 6 with another hypothetical question–ridiculous as it may seem. The thing is, Paul is pretty insightful when it comes to human nature. He understands that the grace issue may still be a hurdle, not only because of what he said in chapter 5 but what he is going to say in this chapter. So, let’s dive in and see if even us savvy 21st century Christians need to hear what Paul wants to say about the Gospel’s grace economy.
