ROMANS II lesson 0

As we begin the second half of the letter to the Romans, it is important to review where we’ve been so that we understand why Paul goes where he does. All along, Paul has been leading his readers to a telos, a goal, at which he has only hinted. But if you haven’t carefully followed his path, the next chapters of Romans may seem a bit anachronistic–like they don’t fit what you expect him to say. So take the time to thoughtfully reacquaint yourself with Romans 1-8 in the first half of this lesson. I believe it will serve you well! And then we’ll get just a preview of what’s in store for us in Romans 9-16.
