LEVITICUS lesson 4
What is it like to be in a friendship with a moody person? Usually when that question is asked people respond with “you just never know what to expect.” And that is so true. It’s been described as feeling like you’re walking on egg shells, or even more to the point, you feel you can never be free to be yourself because you don’t want to be the trigger that sets them off. Tough position to be in. Certainly not a whole lot of life there. And this is exactly why God attempts to teach the Israelites – and us – that this is NOT who He is. You can be sure where you stand with Him, you can be totally yourself and He will continue to be in your midst. THAT is good news, is it not? And that is just a hint of what the Day of Atonement was to teach. But, of course, there’s always more as we discover in this lesson.
