JONAH lesson 2A

Do you remember as a kid ever being left out or feeling like you didn’t belong? Most of us can come up with a very specific instance, and perhaps are even surprised that we remembered that after all these years. Not belonging is one of our greatest fears; belonging our greatest need. It shouldn’t be surprising when we know we’ve been made for relationship. But can we put ourselves on the other side of those memories? When have we made someone feel like they don’t belong? And is that the action of someone called to be Hasidim – practicing the hesed of God? We’ll explore those questions as we follow Jonah into Ninevah.
