JAMES lesson 7
What three words would you like to have engraved on your tombstone? I’m not talking about the words that describe you now, but the ones that you’d like to be described by at the end of your journey. Doing such a simple exercise may make you realize how much stock we put into words. They aren’t mere combinations of sounds or letters that once produced are finished with their work. No, they actually seem to carry a life of their own. I’m sure that’s why James devotes so much of his letter to the use of them. Be prepared, as his words may sting a little (or even a lot), but it will be worth your time as we delve into James chapter three.
