JAMES lesson 1

Did you have a secret hiding place when you were a child? Mine was underneath the basement stairs at my grandmother’s house. I was lucky that my grandmother lived across the street from us, so it was easy access. I went there when I didn’t want anyone to know where I was, usually because I thought I might be in trouble or I was angry at some treatment I’d received. Even if you can’t remember having such a hiding place, I bet you’ve done some kind of hiding–even today. Where does that proclivity to hide from others come from? That’s what we’ll explore today through the study of Genesis 3…on our way to James.
