EZRA/NEHEMIAH lesson 8

Can you remember being afraid of someone as a child? Maybe a teacher who seemed so mean that you felt it would be impossible to get a good grade out of her?  Or maybe a gruff relative with a booming voice. Whoever it was, the one thing you knew was that they held an awful lot of power. Fear of man plays an interesting yet subtle part in how we conduct our lives. This week in Nehemiah chapters 6 & 7, we look at how Nehemiah handled that fear, and, more importantly, how the fear of God can counteract that.
