What is it about talking with a toddler that prompts us to squat on our heels, getting down to their level? Is it not that we understand deep within us that he can not take in our big voice from our big height, but spoken from his own familiar vantage point the words become understandable to him?  It is the same with our Big God. And He is quite willing to come to our level to make Himself understood, all so that we can experience relationship with Him. The tabernacle and the priesthood in Exodus 25-31 are examples of just this. And as always, there’s more there than meets the eye.
