We talk a lot about soft hearts, letting God change our hearts, in effect, circumcision of the heart. But what exactly can it mean for us to submit to God’s circumcision of our heart? What does the cutting really feel like? And, maybe most importantly, just what is He cutting away? Now maybe you’ve never connected the famous walls of Jericho with our circumcision, but truly that is where the cutting begins. And that’s where our lesson starts.
