I’ve always wanted more of a name. Over the years I’ve tried inventing middle names for myself. Elizabeth. Anne. Joy. They just never stuck. Yet there continues to be a niggling inside me that says I’m more than just Jill. And I’m beginning to discover that I may be on to something. There is something more to me. And to you. I’m on a journey to find that new name and in the process I’m seeing with fresh eyes just what we’re meant to be. It’s exciting. And scary. But who doesn’t long for Eden? It’s my new destination. And maybe even my new name.
You’re welcome to tag along. I’ll just give one warning. I’m finding this trip requires me to let go of a lot of baggage I’ve been carrying with me. And it’s really nice baggage! Same thing might happen to you. At least we’ll be in it together. Which is just what Eden likes.
So what exactly will you find on this blog?
My own thoughts on the passages of Scripture I’m currently studying. Maybe some detours. Surely some photos. And a link to the audio lessons I’m teaching in class. These will be un-edited and raw, so you’ll not always hear the class responses, but the teaching will be loud and clear.
