RefreshingEDEN making all things new

Can you think of an event or situation that someone invited you to share that really deepened the connection you had with her? When I asked this question in class almost all of the responses were events of hardship. And yet they had a profound impact on their own sense of worth – a very privileged honor that they were asked into the hard places of another’s life. As we begin to look at how Paul lays out for Timothy an encouragement to fulfill his ministry, we’ll see this same kind of thing. The impact of the Gospel is really that God is with us. In the thick of things. And that others affirm that very place of worth.
