2 TIMOTHY lesson 13

What jobs have you held in your life? I bet that there were several that were purely a means to an end. Just a way to earn enough to eat. But were there any  jobs that were particularly interesting, that really filled you up? Perhaps you could even say of them that “this is what I was made for”?  These are the type of jobs that are not really jobs – not an obligation and a must-do to earn a living, but a calling, a fulfillment of who you are. This is exactly what Paul has been getting at in his letter to Timothy about preaching the Word. Why is it then that sharing the Gospel has become one of those obligation jobs? That’s how we want to finish our study on 2 Timothy – being encouraged by the all-encompassing “work” of the Gospel.
